All rooms of the Akebono Onsen Ryokan Hot Spring Hotel feature traditional Japanese Ryokan style architecture to provide a relaxing ambience along with modern touches for comfort and convenience.

All the Japanese style rooms have tatami mats and futon beds along with flat screen tv’s, bidet automatic washlet toilets, hot and cold air conditioning, electric kettle with tea set and fridge with pay per use beverages.

Amenities such as towels, toothbrushes and paste, yukata robe, hair dryer, combs, brushes,  are all provided. Shampoo is either provided in room or at the onsen hot spring. Shower cap available upon request.

There are four grades of rooms available:

Standard Room Grade

Room size ranges:
19.8 sq meters to 31.4 sq meters
213 sq ft to 338 sq ft
The standard is a beautiful but simple room that provides sitting table, chairs, hot and cold air conditioning, private toilet, but no bathtub or shower facilities.  Guests in standard rooms are expected to clean and bathe in the onsen hot spring facilities. Some of the rooms have a garden view from the window. 

Superior Room Grade

Room size ranges:
23.1 sq meters to 41.3 sq meters
249 sq ft to 445 sq ft
The superior room provides a private bathroom along with everything the standard room provides. The water for the in room tub uses tapwater – not spring water. A larger superior room with an extra living space with couch is also available.  Some of the rooms have a garden view from the window. 

Deluxe Room Grade

Room size ranges:
26.4 sq meters to 42 sq meters
284 sq ft to 452 sq ft
The Deluxe rooms provide a location closer to the public hot spring onsen area. Rooms with an extra room with a sitting couch are also available. The rooms feature private bathroom and toilet. The water for the in room tub uses tapwater – not spring water. Some room have views of the garden.  

Suite Room Grade

Room size ranges:
2 Room or 3 Room options
Suites are approximately 40 sq meters to 49.5 sq meters
430 sq ft to 533 sq ft
Some suites are close to the public hot spring area, and others are farther away closer to the entrance on the upper floors. The suite rooms feature larger spaces with separate rooms. The suite rooms also feature a private wooden hinoki wood soaking tub.   The water for the in room tub uses tapwater – not spring water. Perfect for larger families or or groups of travelers wanting the most private space.
